The world’s largest herb is the Banana plant.
Banana plants do not have a typical, solid, wooden trunk that would identify them as trees botanically. Instead, layers and layers of leaves furled around one another form a stem as thick as 12 inches and as tall as 40 feet, making it one of the world’s largest “herbs.”
The world’s largest herb is the Giant Kelp (Macrocystis pyrifera).
