Velocity is a vector quantity that describes the rate of change of an object’s position with respect to time, including its direction. Acceleration, on the other hand, is the rate of change of velocity with respect to time. While velocity indicates how fast an object is moving and in what direction, acceleration indicates how quickly the velocity is changing, either in terms of magnitude or direction.
