1.20/20 vision: This term indicates normal visual acuity, where a person can see at 20 feet what a typical person should be able to see at that distance. It doesn’t mean perfect vision, just average clarity.

    2. Astigmatism: Astigmatism is a common refractive error of the eye where the cornea or lens has an irregular shape, causing blurred or distorted vision at all distances. It can occur alongside nearsightedness or farsightedness.

    3. Farsightedness (Hyperopia): Farsightedness is a refractive error where distant objects are seen more clearly than nearby objects. It occurs when the eyeball is too short or the cornea has too little curvature, causing light to focus behind the retina instead of on it.

    4. Nearsightedness (Myopia):Nearsightedness is a refractive error where nearby objects are seen more clearly than distant objects. It happens when the eyeball is too long or the cornea is too curved, causing light to focus in front of the retina instead of directly on it.

    5. Presbyopia: Presbyopia is a condition that typically occurs around age 40-50, where the natural lens of the eye gradually loses its flexibility, making it difficult to focus on near objects. It’s often referred to as “aging eyes” and is why many people need reading glasses as they get older.
