The Prabhakar is the newspaper started by Bhau Mahajan. Prabhakar’s letter, which came after the newspaper remained in circulation for many years. Govind Vitthal alias Bhau Mahajan and Kunte started Prabhakar Patra on the day of Ankit in 1841
The Prabhakar newspaper was started by Bal Shastri Jambhekar in 1832. It was one of the first Marathi newspapers and played a significant role in the development of Marathi journalism.
