The Father of Modern Chemistry is Antoine Lavoisier. Lavoisier, an 18th-century French chemist, is renowned for his role in establishing the law of conservation of mass, recognizing and naming oxygen and hydrogen, and helping to reform chemical nomenclature. His work laid the foundation for modern chemistry by transforming it from a qualitative to a quantitative science.
