Narinder Singh Kapany – Often referred to as the “Father of Fiber Optics,” Narinder Kapany is an Indian-born American physicist who made significant contributions to the field of optics and fiber optics. In the 1950s and 1960s, Kapany conducted research that led to the concept and practical application of optical fibers for communication purposes.
