Which scientist discovered the Electric generator?

The electric generator was invented by Michael Faraday, a British scientist, in 1831. Faraday discovered electromagnetic induction, which is the principle behind the electric generator. He demonstrated that a changing magnetic field can induce an electric current in a conductor.
