The exact cause of eye twitching is not known, but the condition can originate in the motor nerves of the brain
Eye twitching may indicate that you are having deficiency in vitamins B12 & D, iron or electrolytes.
It is a symptom that you’re feeling stressed or not getting enough sleep,and consuming more caffeine. Commonly it’s called Ocular myokymia. It’s not a serious condition and resolves on its own.
