PCOD manifests through a variety of symptoms, including irregular menstrual cycles, which can range from absent or infrequent periods to heavy or prolonged bleeding. Women with PCOD may experience hirsutism, characterized by excessive hair growth on the face, chest, or back, as well as acne and oily skin due to increased androgen levels. Weight gain, particularly around the abdomen, is common, along with difficulties with weight loss. Infertility or difficulties with conception may also occur due to irregular ovulation or lack of ovulation altogether.
