The main types of landslides are:
Falls: Rapid movements of rock or debris that fall freely through the air.
Slides: Masses of rock or soil that slide along a defined surface, such as a fault or weathered layer.
Flows: Movements of saturated soil or debris that flow like a liquid, often triggered by heavy rainfall.
Creeps: Slow, gradual movements of soil and rock over time.
