Shaheed Diwas isn’t about one single event, it refers to different moments where people lost their lives for a cause, mainly the country. In India, it usually points to events like Gandhi’s assassination or the execution of Bhagat Singh and others. What connects these events is sacrifice. On these days, people remember what happened, talk about it in schools or media, and pay tribute. It’s less about what “happens” on the day now and more about what is remembered from the past.
