Karnataka has ordered an inquiry into the deaths of three Tamil men who were allegedly killed by forest department officials. The government said that if the investigation proves the officials did something wrong, action will be taken against them. A case has also been registered against the forest officials involved. Karnataka has announced ₹5 lakh compensation for each victim’s family.
