Recently, the Maharashtra government approved the release of the initial installment of Rs 1,720 crore to farmers as part of the Namo Shetkari Mahasanman Nidhi Yojana.
Under the scheme, the state government will provide an additional amount of ₹6,000 along with ₹6,000 provided by the Central Government under PM KISAN scheme.
