In ancient Egypt, the concept of God often revolved around a central god or divine king, with Pharaohs being considered gods themselves. The Egyptians practiced a form of henotheism or monolatry, where multiple gods were acknowledged but one was worshipped as supreme at different times or places. In contrast, Mesopotamian religions were more focused on a polytheistic pantheon with many distinct gods and goddesses, each with their own specialized domains.
