Le Chatelier’s Principle states that if a dynamic equilibrium is disturbed by changing the conditions (such as concentration, temperature, or pressure), the system adjusts itself to counteract the disturbance and restore a new equilibrium. This principle is applied in industrial chemical reactions to optimize conditions for maximum yield, such as increasing pressure to shift equilibrium towards the production of ammonia in the Haber process.
