Mosquitoes do not sleep in the same way that humans or other mammals do. Instead, they have periods of rest where they become less active. During these periods, mosquitoes may find shelter in vegetation or other protected areas to avoid predators and conserve energy. However, they remain alert to potential hosts and will resume their activity to feed when they detect suitable targets nearby.
