C2H5NH2 is more basic than CH3NH2. Since Inductive effect of C2H5 group is more than CH3 group, the electron density around Nitrogen is more in case of C2H5NH2 than CH3NH2. This accounts for the more donating properties of C2H5NH2 than CH3NH2, through its lone pair lobes. Hence more is its basicity
