Colorblind means unable to distinguish a certain color or any color at all. Dogs and horses are two well-known examples of completely colorblind animals and they have only two types of color receptors in their eye compared to humans (have three types of color receptors), which makes them dichromats as well.
Cats and dogs are colour blind As cats and dogs are not sensitive to red light, they have difficulty distinguishing some colours.
