The founder of the Satavahana Empire was King Simuka. He established the empire in the Deccan region of India around the 2nd century BCE, marking the beginning of a dynasty that played a significant role in Indian history.
King Simuka was the founder of the Satvahana Empire , they were even the very first native kings to issue their own coins during their rule which even had their portraits on the coins as well
