Shikhar Dhawan, the dynamic left-handed opening batsman, achieved the rare distinction of scoring centuries on debut in both Test and ODI cricket for India. Dhawan made a memorable debut in Test cricket against Australia in March 2013, scoring a scintillating 187 runs in the third Test match held at the Punjab Cricket Association Stadium in Mohali. He followed up this performance with another century on ODI debut against Australia in October 2010, scoring 187 runs in the third ODI of the bilateral series held at the Sawai Mansingh Stadium in Jaipur.
