The Father of Ayurveda is often regarded as Charaka. Charaka was an ancient Indian sage and physician who lived around the 1st century CE. He is best known for his contributions to the Charaka Samhita, one of the principal texts of Ayurveda, which systematically describes various aspects of medicine, including diagnosis, treatment, and prevention of diseases. His work laid the foundational principles of Ayurveda, which continues to be a significant system of traditional medicine in India.
