History. YES BANK was founded in 1999 by three Indian bankers. Ashok Kapur, who had previously worked as the national head for the ABN Amro Bank, Rana Kapoor who previously was at Bank of America, and Harkirat Singh, who had previously worked as the country head for the Deutsche Bank.
