Dr. Verghese Kurien was the pioneer of White Revolution,also called Operation Flood. He was the Chairman of the National Dairy Development Board when the white revolution was implemented. With the cooperation and consideration of his management skills, the revolution achieved a grand success. Kurien is known as the “Father of the White Revolution” and is recognized as the program’s architect.
The world’s biggest dairy development program began on January 13, 1970.
Dr. Verghese Kurien is called the pioneer of the White Revolution in India. He played a crucial role in transforming India into one of the world’s largest milk producers.
