The Bahmani Kingdom was founded by Ala-ud-Din Bahman Shah in 1347. He established the kingdom after overthrowing the existing ruler of the Deccan region, marking the beginning of a new era in the history of medieval South India.
Bahmani kingdom was a Muslim state of the Deccan in southern India and was one of the great medieval Indian kingdoms. It was founded by Alauddin Hasan Bahaman Shah in 1347. It was the first Independent Islamic Kingdom in South India.
