Bhagat Singh, along with his associates in the Hindustan Socialist Republican Association (HSRA), used the slogan “Inquilab Zindabad,” which means “Long Live the Revolution,” to promote revolutionary ideas and a call for a radical change in the political landscape of India. This phrase became a powerful rallying cry among the Indian independence movement’s radical factions, symbolizing the desire for a complete transformation of society and the overthrow of colonial rule.
Inquilab Zindabad, can be translated as “Long Live Revolution”. was coined by Moulana Hasrat Mohani in the year 1921. It was one of the most famous slogans during the Indian freedom struggle. It was used by Shahid-e-Azam Bhagat Singh through his speeches and writings in the early 1920s.
