Acid-resistant asbestos comprises crocidolite asbestos, anthophyllite asbestos, amosite asbestos, actinolite asbestos and tremolite asbestos. The group of non-acid-resistant asbestos is represented by chrysotile asbestos only, which is of great industrial importance.
