Jog Falls, located in the state of Karnataka, is the second highest plunge waterfall in India. It is formed by the Sharavathi River and drops from a height of about 253 meters (830 feet). Jog Falls is a major tourist attraction and is known for its picturesque setting and powerful flow, especially during the monsoon season.
