The groups of French society that benefited from the revolution were the wealthy members of the third estate, the middle class. The Middle class consist of Peasants, landless laborers, servants, small peasants, big businessmen, merchants, court administrators, lawyers, etc.
Basically, the French Revolution helped the middle class and farmers the most. The middle class got more political power and opportunities, while farmers were freed from many feudal taxes and duties. On the other hand, the nobles and clergy had to give up their special privileges and power. But not everyone was happy with the result. Women were still denied equal political rights, and poor workers did not see much improvement in their daily lives. So, the Revolution removed many old privileges, but it did not bring complete equality to everyone.
