The “left brake” typically operates the rear brake, which is located on the left handlebar.

The “right brake” operates the front brake, located on the right handlebar

On a scooter, you primarily use the rear brake for regular braking. However, in emergency situations or when you need to stop quickly, you can use both the front and rear brakes together.

You should remember that left brakes are rear ones and right brakes are front. So while applying brakes, you should always use the left unless and until it’s an emergency. While panic braking, you should use both of them simultaneously.
