The horse was traditionally considered an animal not known to the Harappans (Indus Valley Civilization). Archaeological evidence from Harappan sites shows that people were familiar with animals such as cattle, buffaloes, sheep, goats, dogs, elephants, and camels. However, the horse was generally believed to be absent or very rare during the mature Harappan period. Some debated evidence of horse remains has been reported, but for standard school-level history questions, the expected answer is horse.

The correct answer is Horse. Cow, camel, horse, and lion were not depicted on seals. Bull was the animal most commonly represented on the seals. In fact, Horse was an animal that was unknown to the Harappan Civilization.
