As of my last update, the longest community dinner table was set in India. It was organized in New Delhi and measured over 1,300 meters (4,265 feet) long. This event took place in November 2017, and over 16,000 people participated in the community dinner. It aimed to promote social cohesion and unity among people from diverse backgrounds.
The event, known as the “Delhi Longest Table,” was organized by the Delhi Government’s Tourism Department. It was held at the Inner Circle of Connaught Place, a historic commercial and cultural hub in New Delhi. The initiative aimed to celebrate the diversity of Delhi and promote communal harmony by bringing together people from various communities to dine together at one long table.
