The Fall of the Western Roman Empire is attributed to a combination of internal and external factors. Internally, political instability, economic decline, and military problems weakened the empire. Externally, invasions by barbarian tribes such as the Visigoths, Vandals, and Huns contributed to the empire’s collapse. Additionally, administrative inefficiency and the division of the empire into Eastern and Western halves played a role.
