Google’s fourth retired attempt at launching a social media platform was “Google+”. Google+ was introduced in 2011 as a social networking service to compete with platforms like Facebook and Twitter. Despite efforts to gain traction, Google+ failed to achieve widespread adoption and was eventually shut down in April 2019.
