Natural fibers like cotton and wool are used in Indian accessories due to their inherent scientific properties that enhance comfort and functionality. Cotton fibers are hydrophilic, meaning they absorb moisture effectively, which helps in keeping the skin dry and cool. This moisture-wicking ability makes cotton ideal for hot climates. Wool fibers, on the other hand, have insulating properties due to their crimped structure, which traps air and provides warmth. Wool’s ability to wick moisture away from the skin while retaining heat makes it suitable for colder conditions. These fibers’ natural breathability and temperature regulation contribute to their widespread use in Indian accessories.
