Varnier Caliper is a tool which is used for measuring accurate linear dimensions. It is also used for the measurements of diameters of round objects with the help of the measuring jaws.
It has two scales-1) A fixed main scale &
2) A movable scale
It is used in various purposes such as-
1) Educational sector: It is used in physics lab to measure dimension of cylindrical sized object which is in one of the few experiments in modern physics.
2) Medical sector : The Medical sector uses varnier Caliper as the dimensions of the medical instruments need to be measured with utmost precision.
3) Industries: Used to measure even tiny components of the ship , aeroplane to avoid any kind of accident s ,offer a accurate measurement
of an object’s height, depth ,inner and exterior measurement.
