Naive Bayes is a probabilistic classifier based on Bayes’ theorem with the “naive” assumption of independence between features.
In NLP, Naive Bayes is commonly used for text classification tasks such as sentiment analysis, spam detection, and document categorization.
It calculates the probability of a document belonging to a particular class (e.g., positive or negative sentiment) based on the presence of words or features in the document.
