Hemkund Sahib is a revered Sikh pilgrimage site located near Badrinath, at an altitude of approximately 4,329 meters (14,200 feet) above sea level. It is associated with Guru Gobind Singh, the tenth Sikh Guru, who is believed to have meditated here.
