    vitamins play a vital role in physiological processes within the body. they are classified based on their solubility such as fat-soluble vitamins (A, D, E and K)and water-soluble vitamins (B and C).
    Vitamin A: Important for vision, immune function, reproduction, and cellular communication.
    Vitamin D: Helps in calcium absorption and bone health. It also plays a role in immune function and cell growth.
    Vitamin E: Acts as an antioxidant, protecting cells from damage. It also supports immune function and helps in widening blood vessels to prevent clotting.
    Vitamin K: Essential for blood clotting and bone health.
    Vitamin B1 (Thiamine): Helps in converting food into energy and supports nerve function.
    Vitamin B2 (Riboflavin): Important for energy production, cell function, and metabolism.
    Vitamin B3 (Niacin): Supports energy production, skin health, and nerve function.
    Vitamin B5 (Pantothenic Acid): Involved in energy production and the synthesis of hormones and cholesterol.
    Vitamin B6: Important for brain development and function, as well as the synthesis of neurotransmitters and red blood cells.
    Vitamin B7 (Biotin): Necessary for metabolism, cell growth, and the production of fatty acids.
    Vitamin B9 (Folate or Folic Acid): Essential for DNA synthesis and cell division. It’s particularly important during pregnancy for fetal development.
    Vitamin B12: Required for nerve function, DNA synthesis, and the formation of red blood cells.
    Vitamin C: Acts as an antioxidant, supports immune function, and is necessary for collagen synthesis, wound healing, and the absorption of iron.
