Mimicry is a survival adaptation where one species evolves to resemble another species or object, enhancing its chances of survival. There are different types of mimicry, such as Batesian mimicry, where a harmless species mimics a harmful one to deter predators, and Müllerian mimicry, where two harmful species evolve to look alike, reinforcing avoidance behavior in predators.
