Jiaozi are Chinese dumplings that are typically filled with a mixture of minced meat (such as pork, beef, or chicken) and vegetables (such as cabbage, mushrooms, or chives). They can be prepared in several ways: boiled, steamed, or pan-fried. Boiled jiaozi are often served in a simple broth, while pan-fried jiaozi (also known as potstickers) have a crispy bottom. They are commonly enjoyed with dipping sauces made from soy sauce, vinegar, and chili oil.
