Jiaozi are Chinese dumplings that are typically filled with a mixture of minced meat (such as pork, beef, or chicken) and vegetables (like cabbage, mushrooms, or chives). They can be prepared in several ways: boiled, steamed, or pan-fried. Boiled jiaozi are usually served in a simple broth or with a dipping sauce made of soy sauce, vinegar, and chili oil. Pan-fried jiaozi, also known as potstickers, have a crispy bottom and are often served with a dipping sauce. Steamed jiaozi are usually served with soy sauce and sesame oil for dipping.
