Traveling on an Indian train for the first time is truly an experience! The sheer diversity of people, the lively atmosphere, and the constant flow of chai vendors surprised me the most. The stations are bustling, yet once onboard, you see families sharing food, strangers striking up conversations, and vendors selling everything from snacks to toys. The long journeys can feel tiring, but the views of villages, fields, and small towns along the way make it unforgettable. What surprised me most was how social and community-like the journey felt—everyone looks out for each other, which makes it uniquely Indian.
