Composition involves creating objects of one class within another class to establish a has-a relationship between them. It promotes code reuse and flexibility by allowing classes to be composed of other objects rather than inheriting their properties and behaviors. Unlike inheritance, which promotes an is-a relationship between classes, composition favors a more flexible and modular design approach.
