Imagine atoms as tiny, indivisible particles, each composed of a nucleus and a surrounding cloud of electrons. The nucleus, the heart of the atom, houses positively charged protons and neutral neutrons. The electrons, negatively charged particles, whiz around the nucleus in a region called the electron cloud.
