Absolute alcohol, also known as anhydrous ethanol, is ethanol that contains 99% or more alcohol by volume, with very minimal water content. It is used in various applications, including as a solvent in chemical processes, in the manufacture of pharmaceuticals, and as a drying agent. Absolute alcohol is not suitable for human consumption due to its high concentration.
