The “Midnight Sun” occurs in polar regions during the summer months when the sun remains visible at local midnight. This phenomenon happens because the tilt of the Earth’s axis allows the sun to stay above the horizon for extended periods in these regions. It is observed within the Arctic and Antarctic Circles, where the sun does not set for several weeks or months.
