    The two main types of plankton are:

    2. Zooplankton: These are microscopic animal-like organisms that feed on phytoplankton or other small organisms. They play a crucial role in transferring energy from phytoplankton to larger predators in the aquatic food web.

    Zooplankton:These animal-like organisms consume other organisms and include jellyfish, crustaceans.Zooplankton and other small marine creatures are eaten by fish, crustaceans, and other larger species.
