Guidelines for physical activities recommend that adults participate in at least 150 minutes of moderate-intensity aerobic exercise throughout the week or 75 minutes of vigorous-intensity aerobic exercise per week, which can be spread out throughout the week, ideally in sessions of at least 10 minutes. Incorporate muscle-strengthening activities into your routine on at least two or more days a week for additional overall health benefits.
