Diabetes doesn’t typically have distinct stages like some other diseases, but it can progress over time and be managed differently depending on various factors. However, we can broadly categorize the progression of diabetes into three main stages:
Prediabetes: Blood sugar levels are higher than normal but not yet at the level of diabetes.
Type 2 Diabetes: Blood sugar levels are consistently high due to insulin resistance or insufficient insulin production.
Complications: If diabetes is poorly managed, it can lead to complications affecting various organs and systems in the body.
