Soccer, also known as football in most countries, is played between two teams of eleven players each. The objective is to score goals by getting the ball into the opposing team’s goal. Players primarily use their feet to strike the ball, but they can also use their head or torso. However, they cannot use their hands or arms, except for the goalkeeper within their penalty area. The game is played in two halves, each typically lasting 45 minutes, with additional time added for stoppages. The team with the most goals at the end of the game wins.
